Yvonne Ryan

Yvonne Parris Ryan, 93, made her peaceful journey to Heaven on Sunday, December 10, 2017.
Celebration of Life: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 at Arborlawn United Methodist Church, 5001 Briarhaven Road, Fort Worth 76109.
Memorials: If friends desire, contributions may be made to Arborlawn United Methodist Chancel Choir.
Yvonne was dedicated to community service at Goodwill and Southwest Harris hospital. She spent her life proclaiming the Gospel as a Sunday school teacher, Chancel choir member, BSF leader, United Methodist Women, and home Bible study facilitator. Her door was always open, her arms willing and no one ever doubted being touched by her love and laughter, changed by her example of faithful discipleship.
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).
She is preceded in death by parents, Jake and Bertha Parris, brother, Harold Parris, baby Ryan; and beloved husband of 70 years, S.O. Bill Ryan.
Survivors: Children, Pam Horton, Scott and Kay Ryan, and Beth and Roger Ellis. She is grandmother to eight; great-grandmother to 13, and a selfless mentor to countless others who were welcomed into her heart and her life.
