Yong Cha Snyder

Kim Snyder, 81 of Benbrook Texas passed away on January 24, 2025 at her home peacefully with her loving son by her side.

 Kim was born January 23, 1944 in a small village in South Korea. She was the oldest of three siblings. 

 She met her future husband, Ronald Snyder at Osan Air Base in 1971. They were married in 1972. Their son Joseph was born in 1973 at the same hospital they both worked. The family moved to Fort Worth after Ronald was transferred to Carswell Airforce Base in 1979. Kim remained married to Ronald til his passing in 2002. They spent 24 loving years in their home in Benbrook. She remained in the family home alone for another 23 years as a widow and never remarried. 

 Kim worked as a seamstress for her entire career while maintaining her beautiful home. 

 In her later years, Kim’s life revolved around exercising and having community at the Benbrook YMCA. 

 Remaining to cherish Kim’s memory are Joseph,son, and his wife Alicia. She will be missed by her family, friends and neighbors.

 Visitation will be held at Winscott Road Funeral Home Tuesday evening February 4, 2025 5-7pm. Funeral services will be 11am at Winscott Road Funeral Home February 5, 2025. Burial following at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 230pm. 

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Kim’s honor be made to the Benbrook YMCA.
