William “Bill” Zischke, 54, unexpectedly went home to the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2022, at a Fort Worth Hospital.
Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held in New York at a date to be announced.
Bill was born July 31, 1967, in Fulton, New York to James Zischke and Sheila Prashaw-Zischke-Scott. He lived most of his younger years in Fulton and attended G. Ray Bodley High School and Oswego State for Marine Biology. In his later years, Bill moved to Fort Worth, Texas and became a successful entrepreneur and businessman.
Bill retired at an early age and was able to live his life doing the things he enjoyed. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, boating, riding motorcycles and jet skis in his spare time. Above all, Bill loved to spend time with his family whenever he could.
Even though Bill lived in Texas, he remained a New York Sports fan at heart. He visited his home state often to watch the Yankees, Giants and Syracuse University Basketball games.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Scott, and father, James Zischke.
Bill is survived by co-parent and best friend, Sally Zischke; children, Tim Livingston, Desiree Wilcox, and Billy Zischke; granddaughter, Mallory Wilcox; siblings, Richard Mulcahey (Darlene), Diane Blasczienski (Kevin), David Zischke, Donna Barbagallo (Frank), Gidget Stevens (Joe), and Rick Scott (Michelle); and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
