Memorial Service : 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church, 2700 McPherson Ave., Fort Worth 76109.
His ashes, along with those of his beloved wife, Frannie McKee, will be scattered by the extended family in Florida in August, per their wishes.
Bill was born in Newark, NJ on August 15, 1917. He thought he was ordinary but we all knew better. Bill was an example to all. Decorated WWII pilot, business executive, and Presbyterian minister, he packed a lot of life in his 5’5” frame. Bill loved his family, hometown Montclair, NJ, friends, being a Scot, Bucknell University, golf and red convertibles. He never met a joke he did not like. He ministered to others to the end.
Survivors: Daughter, Penny McCook; sons, David McKee and Richard McKee (Shelby); grandchildren, Christy McGuire (Carson), John Capes, Sean McKee, Kathy Cintron (Corey Bell), and Mike McKee (Christie); great-grandchildren, Mike Mayes, Gabby Cintron, Violet McKee, Nora McKee, and Finn McKee.
