Thomas Bregenzer

Thomas James Bregenzer, 65, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in Fort Worth.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2022, at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126.

Tom was born September 15, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward and Virginia Bregenzer.  He was the third of five children.  Tom was a graduate of Southwest High School (thanks to his sister) and worked in the construction and remodeling field for over 40 years.  He loved to cook for his wife, Cathy, as well as his Mom, and enjoyed gardening and giving his vegetables away to family and friends.  Tom enjoyed drinking his Miller Lite beers, his Rottweiler dogs, and trying to please everyone he met.  Tom would drop anything he was doing to come and help.

Tom is preceded in death by his father, Edward Bregenzer; grandparents, Jake and Meme Bregenzer, and Charlie and Pauline Bentz; and sister-in-law, Terri.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Leuthe; his mother, Virginia Bregenzer; brothers, Mark Bregenzer (Mollie), and Paul Bregenzer (Linda); sisters, Jean Bregenzer (Jack Harlow), and Susie Bregenzer (David Silva); three step-childen; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
