Terry Cunningham

Terry Dwayne Cunningham, 45, passed away July 29, 2017, due to injuries sustained from a motocross accident. He was doing what he loved most: racing his dirt bike and flying high.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 6 p.m., Wednesday, at the American Legion Post 297, 8201 Old Benbrook Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. The Legion opens at 4 p.m.

Terry was born on July 13, 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Eastern Hills High School with the Class of 91'. He went on to obtain a Certified Master's Degree in HVAC from ATI in 09'. Recently, Terry reopened his business with Powerhouse Framing and Remodeling and continued working closely with 5 star contractors. He lived his life wide open and with no regrets.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Cunningham; grandparents, Alva and Nina Cunningham, Bud and Margaret Kuykendall, and step-sister, Trina Peters.

SURVIVORS: Terry is survived by the love of his life and wife, Tara Cunningham; son, Cody Cunningham and wife Brittney; daughter, Ashlee Cunningham; grandchildren, Chloe Cunningham, Cody Cunningham Jr., and Amanda Jean (AJ) Yeargain; mother, Jean Cunningham and husband, J.R. Peters; brother, Tommy Cunningham and significant other, Tara Gibson; step-brother, Eric Peters and wife Lynn; and step-sister, Shannon Peters. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and countless amounts of friends.
