Teresa Ann Wright

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Teresa Ann (Kasten) Wright, 67, of Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, at home surrounded by her loved ones. Born on June 19, 1957 in Atchison, Kansas, to Eugene and Connie Kasten, she was a loving wife, mother, sister, and Grandma/Meemaw. She graduated from Atchison High School and later Texas Christian University with a bachelor’s in business administration. She was known for her spunk, empathy, smile, compassion, and especially her dedication to her family. At the beginning of her career outside of the home she excelled in a sales role, but later she found her passion was in helping people. She taught countless non-profit professionals in DFW how to secure the funding needed to expand their reach to help as many people as possible. Her handprint of help will be felt by many for years to come. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, puzzling with David, and going to the beach every chance she got. She lived by and instilled in her children to live by the Golden Rule.

She is survived by her husband, David; her children, Paige (Chris) Monacelli, Blake Wright, and Sara Wright; her grandsons, Carson, Kasten, and Beck; her mother-in-law, Barbara Wright; her sisters, Veronica Sue (Tim) Regan, Rhonda Kasten, and Pam Hickman; her sister-in-law, Cathy Riegel; her brother-in-law, Noel Cantrell; and her dog Molly. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Connie Kasten; her father-in-law, Aaron Wright; and her sister-in-law, Beth Cantrell.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19th from 2:00-4:00pm at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. 

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County in Teresa's memory (www.ugm-tc.org). She will live on in our hearts and through her lasting impacts.
