Stella Lee

Stella F. Edmondson Lee, loving wife, mother, and friend passed away May 14, 2022, at the age of 93.  She was the Beacon at Sea, the Light in the Forest, the Path to Righteousness.

Funeral service:  11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126.  Visitation will be 10-11:00 a.m., immediately prior to her funeral service.  Burial will follow at Benbrook Cemetery.

Memorials:  Please consider donations in lieu of flowers to the Aledo United Methodist Church, 100 Pecan Drive, Aledo, Texas, where she was a faithful member.

Stella was born November 11, 1928, in Erath County, Texas to James C. Edmondson and Maudie May Cole. She was a high school graduate and business owner from September 5, 1961 until February 1997.  She gave more to life and others than she took. She will be fondly remembered by her family and church friends.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Lee; her parents; and her daughter, Sherroll Shirley.

Survivors:  Her brother, T.C. Edmondson of Abilene, Texas; son, Tommy Lee of Thornton, Colorado; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and extended family members.
