Riley Hampton

Riley Lee Hampton, 90, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 in Arlington.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Edge Park United Methodist Church, 5616 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76134. Visitation: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at the church, prior to the service. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth.

Riley was born December 28, 1928 in Ireland, Texas to Paul Hampton and Winnie Davis Edwards Hampton. He was an educator and taught in the Fort Worth ISD for many years. Riley was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jonell in 2011, and a son, Davey Hampton.

Survivors: Son, Danny Hampton; granddaughter, Jessica Hampton; brother, Bill Hampton; and an extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
