Reba B. Johnson, 84, passed away March 2, 2023, after an extended illness.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to First Christian Church, or a charity of your choice.
Reba was born February 19, 1939, in Coryell County, Texas. She attended school in Hamilton, Texas. On December 30, 1961, she married her husband, Ray, after which they lived in Washington, D.C., Fort Worth, Texas, Johnson County, Texas, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Granbury, Texas and finally Benbrook, Texas. She worked for the IRS until she retired in 1994. Reba was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and recent great-great-grandmother.
Reba is preceded in death by her father, George Banta, mother, Alene Hyles Banta, brother, J.C. Banta, and second sister, Marge Rudolph.
Survivors include her loving husband of over 61 years, Ray Johnson; son, David Johnson and wife, Bridget of Benbrook, Texas; son, John Johnson and wife, Diane of Conchas Dam, New Mexico; and son, Chris Johnson and wife, Karen of Gypsum, Colorado; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Riley Banta and wife, Carolyn, and John Paul Banta and wife, Cynthia; sisters, Ruth Zschiesche and husband, William, and Nancy Banta; and many loving extended family members and friends.
