Ray Bowden

Ray Bowden, 81, passed away August 13, 2017 in Fayetteville, Ark.
Graveside services: 11:00 a.m., Thursday in Grapevine Cemetery, Grapevine, Texas. Visitation: 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126.
Ray was born June 3, 1936 in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Fort Worth Tech School in 1954. Ray married the love
of his life, Bettie Barnett in 1955 and they were married 62 years. Ray was a printer for 34 years and also owned and operated several small businesses.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Bowden and Juanita (Sammons) Bowden, and brother, Charles Bowden.
Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife Bettie; daughter, Cindy Miles and husband, Hollis; son, Randy Bowden and wife, Cheri Sanders; son, Wesley Bowden and wife, Christie Givens; sister-in-law, Johnnie Weehunt; grandchildren, Diana Tabor, Jason Miles, Shelley Miles, Marc Miles, Holly West, Zach Crisp, Jessica Bowden, Blake Bowden, Brinley Bowden, and Nicholas Bowden; and several great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
