Pat Kemp

Patsy Roselle Kemp was born July 19, 1930 and passed away August 1, 2024. She was born in Albany, Texas and moved later to Pecos where she attended school. Pat married Charlie Young in 1946 and moved to Alpine, Texas. She and Charlie with their two children Bo and Jack moved to Plainview, Texas in 1956. Pat was an ambassador for the bank. They moved to Abilene, Texas in 1974 where she began her real estate career. In 1981 she moved to Fort Worth and began managing apartments and continued until she retired. She moved to the Stonegate Facility in 2021 until her passing.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Bo Young and companion, Ellen Dyer; son, Jack Young and wife, Ginny Young; grandchildren, Kimberly Brewer and husband, Clint Brewer, and Scott Young and wife, Pauli Young; great-grandchildren, Kattie Brewer-Ostler and husband, Jay, Koryn McPherson and husband, Bredyn, Jeritt Young, Vann Young, and Camden Brewer; and extended family and friends.

Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Visitation will follow until 4:00 p.m.
