Pamela Spikes McCleery, 74 of Benbrook, passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, in Dallas.
Memorial service: Noon Friday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook.
Pam was born Aug. 5, 1941, to Sim and Aurelia Spikes in Montgomery, La. She graduated as valedictorian from Montgomery High School and received a full academic scholarship to LSU in accounting. After retiring from All Church Home For Children, she volunteered at Harris Methodist Hospital and Meals on Wheels.
Pam was the most giving, loving person and "Mom" and "Grandma" to everyone. Pam had a green thumb and specialized in growing African violets.
Pam was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Robbie Juban, Pat Spikes and Bud Spikes.
Survivors: Loving husband of 33 years, Wayne McCleery; daughters, Kelly Hilton and husband, Glenn, Allison Patterson and husband, James, Allison Tillery, and Stacy Miller; grandchildren, Chase and wife, Jennifer, and Alec; Cody and Shawn; Dillon, Tabitha and Nathan; and Kaleb; and sister, Molly Parker.
