Neill Seaver, 67, passed away on February 27, 2025, in Benbrook, Texas. He was born in California and grew up in St. Louis Missouri. He graduated in 1981 from Central Missouri State University, where he met his wife, Liz. Neill worked for General Dynamics/Lockheed/Lockheed Martin for 33 years. He was proud to have spent his career working on the F-16 program through field service, product support, maintenance instruction, and program management. His career took him on adventures around the world.
All his relatives and friends loved Neill and will miss him deeply, but also fondly remember all the laughter and good times they had with such a great guy. Neill and Liz loved to travel. They enjoyed swimming, scuba diving, skiing, camping, canoeing, mountain biking, motorcycles, and muscle cars. Neill’s children will remember him as the best dad in the universe. He was patient and kind, a wonderful teacher and motivator. He and Liz instilled in their children a love of learning and a love of being outdoors. Neill was always there to play cards or backgammon, watch movies, take his children biking or hiking, and attend their sporting events. As his children grew, he spent countless hours helping them move, helping with car or home repairs, and just generally coming to the rescue in times of need. His children knew they could always come to him for help or advice. Other fatherly talents include juggling, riding a unicycle, and telling the best dad jokes.
Neill was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Virginia Seaver; brother, Gerald Seaver; and father-in-law, David Brogan.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Liz Seaver; his sons, Sean Seaver, and Ryan Seaver and wife Haley; and his daughter, Kerry Strickland and husband Benjamin. Neill also leaves behind grandchildren, Max, William, Elizabeth, and Sean; sister, Peggy Berger and husband Dale; niece, Laura (Ian) Kaufmann; nephew, Eric Berger; Aunt Francis Macek; mother-in-Law, Helen Brogan; six siblings-in-law and their spouses; twelve other nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
