Michael A. Hostetler, 48, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017.
Graveside services: 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas. (If attending service, please arrive at the cemetery no later than 11:15 a.m., Lane C.) Visitation: 6 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook 76126.
Michael was born July 18, 1968 in St. Louis, MO to Karen and Bob Hostetler. He graduated from Crowley High School in 1986 and continued his love for football at Kansas Wesleyan University. His passion for adventure led him to join the elite United States Marine Corp from 1989-1995, where he was a proud brother of the HMM364 Purple Foxes. Michael married Dawn Hostetler in 1996 and was a proud father. He will be forever strong.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hostetler; grandfather, Richard Prichard; and children, Hayden and Haley Hostetler.
Survivors: Loving wife of 20 years Dawn Hostetler; daughters, Payton, and Andy and husband, Matt; mother, Karen Hostetler; brothers, David Hostetler and Rick Harrison and wife, Tammy; sister, Jennifer Martin and husband, Chad; granddaughter, Gershwin; and a host of other family and friends.
