Louis Rogers

Louis J. "Skip" Rogers, 75, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018.
Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas. Visitation: 5 to 7:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Skip was born in Sweetwater on Sept. 23, 1942 to Louis and Marylucile Rogers. He was the oldest of three boys. Skip served his country and was a proud Navy veteran. He worked at General Dynamics / Lockheed Martin for over 40 years. Skip was loved deeply by his family and friends. He and his wife, Tina, recently celebrated their 43rd anniversary. He loved family vacations, trips to Austin with his son, Nick, and the many trips with his closest friends. He loved his life. His children and grandchildren were his life and he enjoyed every moment with them. He was so proud of his family and always had a story to tell.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tina; son, Nick; daughter, Mandy; son-in-law, Damon and their three beautiful children, Logan, Marley, and Parker; and many countless friends who were considered family.
