Occasionally, a person comes into your life that makes a lasting impression. The one whose laughter is infectious, and their smile could light up the darkest room. A confidant and an anchor to many friends and family. Kristin Renee Uzee, 35, a long-term resident of Benbrook was this person for many people through the years. At our loss she chose to leave behind her emotional pain February 24, 2025, in Cleburne Texas.
Kristin was born in Fort Worth, Texas on November 14, 1989. She was raised by her grandparents, Sharon and Gary Canada. Brought up like a sister to her aunts and there was never a shortage of love. She was the entire family's pride and joy. Her love for cheerleading, fast pitch softball, and good times with friends and family encompassed her early years. Years of playing select and high school softball was one of her biggest passions growing up. She must have pitched a million pitches throughout her childhood with her Poppy, Gary. Her friendships developed during those years she held in high regard.
Her passion for softball was replaced by her two sons, Boston and Brayden whom she loved fiercely. She was complete and it suited her. Holidays, birthdays, vacations, and family time were things she worked effortlessly to create good memories for her boys.
Intelligent and a good problem solver she would be a person you'd ask her opinion, and she would give it honestly. Through the years she enjoyed gardening, different crafts, and trying to create a good home and upbringing for her boys. She loved them with her whole heart.
Kristin was survived by her sons, Boston and Brayden Baker; Patrick Uzee whom was the love of her life; her "Nanny" Sharon Canada; grandmother, Sharon Peterson; father, Brian Wilsterman; brothers, Matthew and Joshua Mills, and Noah Wilsterman; her aunts, Mellanie Madara, Sarah Canada, Steffanie Hayes, Sonia Wilsterman, and Sarah Wilsterman; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jacquelyn Mills, "Poppy" Gary Canada, and great-grandparents, Jack and Paula Skipworth.
