Karen Aquino, 58, of Benbrook, Texas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
On November 25, 1958, God blessed the world with the most beautiful soul in the form of a precious baby girl, Karen Aquino. God knew, when he decided to share Karen with us, that she would face adversity, and so, along with the sweetest soul, He gave her a fighter’s spirit. Her gentle spirit and forever lovely smile brought her family hope through the trials of this life. She remained a light post for her parents and brother, always offering a smile, a helping hand, and beautiful laugh. Karen rose to the occasion of being “Aunt Karen” with all the grace and love one could expect from a daughter after God’s own heart.
Karen has lived in Benbrook for 40 years. She is preceded in death by her brother, Edward D. Aquino. Karen passed peacefully surrounded by her mom, dad, brother and sister-in-law, covered in prayers and tears.
Survivors: Parents, Loretta and George Aquino of Benbrook; brother Mike and wife, Gayle of Germany; nieces, Melissa Haney of Lexington, Tiffany Franke of McGuire AFB, NJ, and Brook Aquino of Breckenridge; great-niece, Audrey Franke; and great-nephews, Aiden Franke, Brighton Haney, and Eddie Aquino.
