Justin Arnold Howard, 42, of Fort Worth, was received into the arms of his Savior on Saturday, April 3, 2021. He was born October 29, 1978, in Nederland, Texas to Larry and Jean Ann Howard.
Justin, affectionately known as “Duck” by his friends, grew up in Nederland, Anahuac, and Conroe, Texas and graduated from Magnolia High School in 1997, where he was named “Mr. Magnolia,” an award based on character, and voted “Friendliest” by his peers. Justin went on to obtain a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management Information Systems degree from Baylor University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance degree from Southern Methodist University. Justin worked at Lockheed Martin and Alcon, and then became part business owner and operator of Strongpoint and Metro Pet.
Justin was an incredibly devoted father, full of love and fun, and he most enjoyed spending time with his two children, Caroline and Hayes. He always enjoyed sports, especially baseball, and he recently helped to coach Hayes’ baseball team. Just days ago, Justin expressed proud excitement that Caroline got a hit at her first bat in her softball game. Justin loved Baylor University and never missed an opportunity to cheer on his beloved Baylor Bears. He also liked to hunt and fish and was an avid music lover. He loved playing guitar; he was talented and in this last year, he played often and learned much. Justin was best known for his generous spirit, huge heart, infectious smile, and his countless offerings of love and true friendship. We were so blessed to call him ours.
Justin is survived by his wife, Jennifer Roberts Howard, his two sweet children, Caroline Jane Howard and Hayes Porter Howard, his father, Larry Arnold Howard, his mother, Jean Ann Howard, his sister, Laurie Ann Couch, his brother-in-law Barry William Couch, his nieces, Madeline Kate Couch, Anna Claire Couch, and Audrey Elise Couch and a host of true friends whom he loved like family.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to support Caroline and Hayes’ future. Organized by Justin’s friends, two opportunities to contribute are through Go Fund Me ( https://gofund.me/bb8f5e04 ) and a Texas College Savings Plan. If you would like to contribute to the children’s education fund, please sign up here: https://forms.office.com/r/vfMMHbwZXY and we will send you an invitation to contribute directly. Additionally, invitations to contribute to the education fund will be present at the service. Please contact Laurie Couch with any questions at lauriecouch03@gmail.com .
