Josephine Reasoner

Josephine "Jodie" Elizabeth Bragg Reasoner, 72, of Benbrook, passed away July 25, 2017.
Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Monday at Winscott Road Funeral Home. Visitation: 4 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday. Burial: 2:30 p.m., Monday at Flower Mound Cemetery, 1501 FM Road 3040, Flower Mound.
Jodie was born Jan. 28, 1945 in Coppell to Wade and Gertrude Forgey Bragg. She graduated from Grapevine High School and the University of North Texas. Jodie taught school, served as a substitute, and was a private tutor. Jodie and Harold Reasoner married in 1967. They have three sons, and all enjoyed family vacations, church, scout, and school activities. Jodie taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, was Cub Scout chairperson and den leader. She enjoyed her Ukulele music group and leading the Golden Strings at White Settlement Senior Center where she was Volunteer of the Year in 2009. She and Harold traveled to all 50 states and 44 countries on 4 continents.
Survivors: Loving husband of 50 years, Harold; sons, David Reasoner and wife, Corinne of Dallas, Neal Reasoner of Austin, and Steven Reasoner of Benbrook; beloved grandchildren, Drake and Brooke Reasoner of Dallas; sisters, Margaret Gilmore (Clarence) of Plano, Mattie Derryberry of Clifton, and Kay Austin of Graham; and brother, Wade Bragg (Kim) of Graham.
