Jolly Whitten

Jolly Bill Whitten, 88, passed away December 3, 2022.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church, 1501 Jim Wright Fwy., Fort Worth, Texas 76108.

Jolly was born September 13, 1934.  Born and raised in Knox City, Texas, he went to college at Texas Tech as an engineer student, and worked at Lennox and Norton companies.

Jolly was an ordained Baptist Deacon; Worshipful Master, Haltom City Masonic Lodge; and District Deputy Grand Master 65th Masonic District, Grand Lodge of Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete Whitten and Nancy Whitten; brother, Monty; and sister, Norma.

Survivors: Wife, Alma Louise Whitten; three children: daughter, Vicki Smith (Mike); daughter, Donna Reese (Dan) and four children; son, Lon Whitten (Kristi) and two children; eight great-grandchildren; and extended family members and friends.
