James Edward Cain

James “Jim” Edward Cain, 70, passed away on October 04, 2024, peacefully in his sleep at home. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. 

James “Jim” Cain was born in Hope, Indiana to mother, Juanita Morrow and father, Ralph Cain. He is one of five siblings. Jim was a loving and caring husband for 34 years to Delores Cain who preceded him in death in 2022. Jim worked for Gardner Glass from the age of 18 from entry level, working his way all the way up to general manager over the course of many years. Jim and Delores Cain traveled with his job and lived in Texas, Colorado and Arizona before returning to Texas permanently. Jim has been with Traders Village now for 14 amazing years as the Operations Manager. Jim was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His unconditional love and support for his family and friends will remain in our hearts forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Delores Cain; daughter, Christine Weeks; and his sister, Tina Dugger. 

Jim is survived by his sons, Ron and Elvin Weeks; granddaughter, Kortni Osko and her husband, Gerry, along with their three children, Gavin, Gary, and Katelyn; brothers, Ralph, and Steve Cain; and sister, Carol Rea.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m.,  Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Rd. Benbrook, Texas  76126.
