ALEDO -- Jacob Evan Hammond went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Benbrook, 1015 McKinley St., Benbrook. Interment: 3 p.m. in King Cemetery in Kemp. Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Jacob was born five weeks early on May 19, 2013, in Fort Worth. Although his life on earth was short, he touched many lives forever. Jacob's life was spent surrounded by family and friends who loved him deeply. He brought courage and hope to those around him. And was a reminder of the preciousness of life. He loved interacting with people & bringing smiles to their faces. He loved his Mom, Dad, Brother, Sisters, and all of his family and caregivers.
Survivors: He was the son of Kayne and Jennifer Hammond and brother of Lauren, Heather, Natalie, Caleb, and Courtney. He is also survived by his grandparents, Rondall and Brenda Turnbow and Bill and Charlene Hammond; great-grandmothers, Della Banks and Mabeline Turnbow; aunts, Karey Hammond, Korey Stephens, and Kristine Hammond; uncles, Christopher Turnbow, Jason Turnbow, and Keith Turnbow; along with many great-aunts; great-uncles; and cousins.
