Jackie Frakes

Jackie Lee Frakes, 88, passed away January 18, 2019 in Burleson after suffering with Dementia.

Memorial service: 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook 76126.

Jackie was born April 13, 1930 in Skyler County, Illinois in an area known as Gin Ridge, the son of Harry and Elizabeth Frakes. Jackie was a professional truck driver and retired after driving more than 30 years. He was so proud to have driven more than 3 million miles without an accident or traffic ticket. He lived in the Macomb, Illinois area for several years prior to moving to Chicago while working with various trucking companies. He and his wife resided in Benbrook over 20 years. They were very "hands-on" with helping their family.

Jackie was preceded in death by his wife, Annabel Frakes, his parents, one older sister who died in infancy, brother, Bobbie Frakes, and brother, Billie Frakes.

Survivors: Son, Danny Frakes and wife, Julie; grandchildren, Kenneth Frakes, Kimberly Avery and husband, Bill, and Jack Frakes; great-grandchildren, Jack Andrew Frakes, Tyler Reed Frakes, William Joseph Avery, and Cy Keenan Frakes.
