Helen Margaret Torlincasi of Benbrook passed away at the age of 78 of lung cancer, on Wednnesday, Dec. 16, 2015, but her memory lives on in the hearts of the people who knew her.
Funeral:
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 3601 Altamesa Blvd., Fort Worth. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, where a rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.

Helen was foremost a proud grandmother. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, nurse, teacher, volunteer, Scout leader, and friend. She lived her life with family always at the forefront. She loved bringing people together to share in family events and holidays. One of her favorite things to do was hosting family functions where everyone was always welcome. She was a devoted teacher with a special gift for working with children, especially those with special needs.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald Torlincasi; parents, Fred and Elizabeth Winters; and brother, Ted Winters.
Survivors:
Helen is survived by her children, Tammy Torlincasi, Tina Whitehouse and husband, David, Tom Torlincasi, Terry Childress and husband, Brandon, Tim Torlincasi and wife, Mary Kate, and Tanya Torlincasi; grandchildren, Christopher Torlincasi and wife, Shannon, Richard Torlincasi and wife, Lindsay, Bryan Torlincasi and wife, Jessica, Alex and Ben Childress, and Gage Williams; four great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene Payne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
