Harold Edward Hamilton, 75, of Benbrook, Texas, passed away on September 10, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral services: 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2022, at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Graveside services: Immediately following his funeral service at Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76107, with full military honors.
Harold was born September 25, 1946, in Manila, Arkansas to Harold Loyd Hamilton and Mary Olive Fleeman Hamilton. He grew up on a rural farm in northeast Arkansas and graduated from Manila High School in 1965.
Harold retired from the U.S. Air Force on September 1, 1987, after 20 years of honorable service as a Master Sergeant, and a Vietnam Veteran. He then went on to retire from the U.S. Postal Service on December 12, 2014, as a supervisor, with 26 years of outstanding and dedicated service.
He was a loving husband and a devoted father, with a strong faith in Christ. He strongly believed that family comes before occupation and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by: Harold Loyd Hamilton, Mary Olive Fleeman Hamilton, and Helen Marie Davis Hamilton
Survivors: Loving wife of 19 years, Sharla Hamilton; son, Chad Hamilton; sisters, Harla Jean Johnson, and Pamela Mai Taylor; and brothers, Michael Duane Hamilton, Charles Patrick Hamilton, and Kenneth Wayne Hamilton.
