Born in Fort Worth, Texas on November 1, 1934, she was the daughter of G.D. and Babe Clark. She graduated from Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Gulf Park College in Gulfport, Mississippi, and earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Texas Christian University. She was a retired Fort Worth ISD school teacher. In addition, she faithfully served as a loving pastor’s wife at Westridge Baptist Church for more than 25 years. She loved her family, church family, and friends dearly, and hundreds of people annually received birthday and anniversary cards, for as long as she was physically able to send them. She was a beautiful lady known for her style and grace, but those who knew her loved her even more for her beautiful spirit of Christ-likeness, kindness, and zest for life. The family would love to thank her faithful, loving caregivers at St. John’s Residential Care Home and Beyond Faith Hospice for their devotion to her and to our dad.
Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents, G.D. and Babe Clark, and her son-in-law, Tim Collier.
