George M. Zizzo

George M. Zizzo age 77 of Benbrook, Texas went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 14, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas.  He was born August 31, 1946, in New York, New York to Nicholas and Cuma (Roberts) Zizzo.  After completing high school George attended Oklahoma University where he obtained his bachelor’s degree.   He then joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his county.  George was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and an active member of the Knights of Columbus.  He retired from Lockheed and enjoyed playing golf in his spare time.

George was preceded in death by his parents. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 54 years, Azeneth Zizzo; son, Nicholas Zizzo and wife Glenna; daughter, Deanna Pollard and husband Shawn; grandchildren, Cecilia and Margaret Pollard, Jessica Runnels and husband Tim, Joseph, Jenna, and Jacob Zizzo; siblings, Mary Freeman, John Zizzo, Paul Zizzo and wife Linda, and David Zizzo and wife Debbie; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
