Frank Frontino, 84, a retired U.S. Air Force SAC, Senior Master Sergeant, passed away October 6, 2021, at his home where he was cared for by his loving family.
Frank was born in Richwood, West Virginia to parents, Frank Frontino Sr. and Elvera Lapa-Frontino. He joined the Air Force and became skilled as an expert Instrument Technician. His tours of duty took him to military bases in the U.S., Europe, and Southeast Asia. While stationed in France and visiting the Emerald Isle, Ireland, he met and married Sylvia Isaacson of Dublin. His military career took their growing family to New York, England, and Texas where they raised five children, finally settling in Fort Worth. Retiring with twenty-one years of service with the Air Force, he joined Miller Brewing Company as an Instrumentation and Controls Specialist until retirement.
Frank was an avid golfer and spent countless days on the golf course into his 70s and ventured on many senior tournaments with his military buddies to some favorite places like Las Vegas and Florida. He enjoyed the camaraderie of socializing at the VFW and American Legion, the preferred 19th-hole! Frank and his friends made happy memories cooking breakfasts and any number of celebrations with their wives and families that will forever be remembered.
Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Sylvia; his parents; and his sisters, Gloria Ann, Philomena, and LeeAnn.
Survivors are his brother, Larry Frontino of Summersville, WV; children, Denise, Frank, Paul, Michelle, and Andrea; grandchildren, Sara, Ryanne, Frankie, Bradley, Jamie, Nicholas, Harrison, Ryan, Brady, and Reagan; great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Sean, Matthew, Jordan, Ada, Nolan, Grayson, Jase, Corban, and Kyler.

A Celebration of Life will be held for both Frank and Sylvia at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 21st at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126.
Gatherings will be held to honor Frank of his military service as a member and as a friend of both the American Legion Post 626 on Burton Hill Rd, October 16th at 3pm-5pm, and a gathering at the VFW Post 10429 on Benbrook Lake, October 23rd, 2pm-5pm.
A private inurnment and military service will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, for Frank and Sylvia’s final resting place.
