Francis Wagner

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Visitation: 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the funeral service. Burial: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Park, Dallas, Texas.

Francis was born October 28, 1937 in Dunkerton, Iowa. He attended school in Dunkerton, played basketball, and graduated. Francis served in the U.S. Marines from 1958 to 1962. He was retired from Payless Shoes. He liked to play horseshoes and croquet, but really loved watching sports.

Francis was preceded in death by his wife Donna Clara Wagner in 2011, his mother, Alice Pearle Trumbauer Wagner, his father, James William Wagner, and his brother, James Wagner.

Survivors: Children, Kathy McKenzie (Don Lothrop), Bill Wagner (Aida Elashkar), Craig Wagner (Luretta Manning), and Cory Wagner (Tabitha Harris); grandchildren, Brittany McKenzie, Christan Wagner, Kayleigh Wagner, Tiffanie Wagner, Chelsi Wagner, Grace Wagner, and Kaitlyn Wagner; and great-grandchildren, Taylor McKenzie, Lily Evans, Marley King, Maddison King, and Melody King.
