Frances Jones

Frances A. Jones, 90, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 in Fort Worth, surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral service: 2 p.m., Friday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Burial later next week at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society.

Frances was born October 9, 1929 in Petersburg, West Virginia to Ernest Redman and Viola George Redman. She was one of 13 children. Frances was a member of Benbrook United Methodist Church. She excelled at gardening, especially her flowers, but her passion was "garage sales". Frances was a beloved sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Stephen Stierstorfer, her great-grandson, Curtis Wright, and seven siblings, Anna Kincaid, Grace Illiss, Carol Hall, Bob Redman, Raymond Redman, Jack Redman and Curtis Redman.

Survivors: Loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Winford D. Jones; son, Linnie Stierstorfer and wife, Debbie; daughter-in-law, Connie Stierstorfer; two grandchildren, Jeremy McCullough and Stephanie Wright; five great-grandchildren; five siblings, Teen Carnes, Helen Kicks, Alma Nowobilski, Don Redman, and Dick Redman; and a supportive extended family.
