Elizabeth Hendrix

Elizabeth Marie Allgood Hendrix, 90, loving wife, mother, nana and friend, was called home to the Lord, Saturday, September 15, 2018, surrounded by her family at a local hospice.
Funeral service: 6:30 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook 76126. Interment: 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday at Winscott Road Funeral Home.

Marie was born to S.A. and Ruby Allgood in Lott, Texas on May 20, 1928. She was a 1946 graduate of Grapevine High School. Mom will be laid to rest in Bluebonnet Memorial Park, within walking distance from their initial home in the early 50's where their first daughter was raised and is now the property where Bluebonnet Memorial Park is located. She was devoted to her husband of 65 years, her children, her grandson, and family. Her yard was her passion and she was always "picking up leaves". Marie loved the outdoors and loved to travel with her family to Colorado and fish.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Harold Hendrix, and adored grandson, Michael.
SURVIVORS: Son, Bobby Hendrix; daughter, Patricia Hendrix; daughter, Marsha Feely and husband, Dan; two brothers; three sisters; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving neighbors and friends.
