Elizabeth Patricia "Bette" Butler (nee: Hyland), 90 of Englewood, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 following a lengthy illness.

Bette was born in Newark, New Jersey on October 17, 1927 to George F. and Martha E. (Tuthill) Hyland. She married Kenneth "Ken" Butler in 1947 in New Jersey, and moved with her family to Texas, and then onto Florida. Following her husband's passing in 2015, Bette moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she lived until her passing. She was a woman of many talents and greatly enjoyed quilting and other needle-work related crafts.
Bette was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her only brother, George.
Bette is survived by her five children, Gale Gardberg and her husband, Manuel of Englewood, Florida, Wayne Butler of San Antonio, Texas, Karen Bragg and her husband, Bill of Antioch, California, Jill Snow and her husband, David of El Paso, Texas, and Kenna-Sue Grogan and her husband, Danny of Benbrook, Texas; as well as fourteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
