Elfido Ordonez

Elfido Ordonez, 78, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 23, 2019 in the warmth of his home.

Rosary: 2:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Visitation and Celebration of His Life: 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home, following the Rosary.

Elfido was born Feb. 22, 1941 in Chihuahua, Mexico. He was the third child of seven. He always encouraged his children to pursue their dreams, and never give up. Elfido was a hilarious person and always having a positive thing to say about everyone. He was loved so much and we will miss him forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two siblings, and a granddaughter.

Survivors: Loving wife of 54 years, Amanda; daughter, Beronica and her children, Leo and Alex; daughter, Laura and husband, Jose Luis and their children, Grisell and Val; daughter, Lorena and her children, Janeth, David and Elisa; son, Salvador and wife, Judith, and their children, Jenny, Yadira, and Joanna; and an extended loving family and friends.
