Edna Pauline "Nanny" Greenway, 85, passed away May 10, 2018 in Fort Worth.
Memorial service: 11:30 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook 76126. Inurnment: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas.
Pauline was born March 20, 1933 in Alabama. Nanny raised four girls and supported James while serving his country for 21 years. Although they lived overseas and in several states, they always managed to come back to Texas. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching all her children and grandchildren at their sporting, artistic, and dance events. The last ten years, she was at Game-On Arena two times a week watching her grandson, Jason Carpenter play indoor soccer.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James P. Greenway.
Survivors: Daughters, Linda Sandel of Ohio, Brenda Fredman and husband, Dick of Euless, Janie Carpenter and husband, Daniel of Fort Worth, and Sue Hill and husband, Terry of White Settlement; grandchildren, Heather, Nathan, Nicole, Jason, Donald, Chris, Kristina, Valerie and Donavon; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
