Dora Hendry

Dora Faye Hendry, 82, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away June 24, 2019.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 28, 2019 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126.

Dora Faye Hendry was born October 29, 1936 in Laurel, Mississippi to Johnny Herman Flowers and Lillian Lois Nicholson Flowers. She married Bernard Hendry who was a 2nd Lt in the Air Force. Dora Faye moved from Memphis to Fort Worth in 1977. She loved her service at her church, in the infant daycare area. Later she was supervisor of housekeeping at Carswell Hospital, before retiring.

Dora Faye was preceded in death by her brothers, Arnold and Edgar Flowers.

Survivors: Daughters, Sharon Uselmann of Sacramento, Calif., Deborah Hendry and Linda Hendry, both of Fort Worth; son, Doug Hendry of Sadler; sisters, Audie Todd (Benny) of Groves, Texas, Tommie Jean Fairchild of Marietta, Georgia; Bobbie Lois Scoggins of Dallas, and her twin, Ora Kaye Lattin of Fort Worth; four grandchildren, Ryan Uselmann, Christina Klimowski, Shannan Callahan, and Victoria Zook; and ten great-grandchildren.
