Donnie Joe Clem, passed peacefully into heaven on Monday, April 17, 2023, surrounded by his family and embraced in love.
Born October 27, 1971 in Fort Worth, Texas. Donnie was larger than life and yet so profoundly down to earth. He valued hard work, loyalty and honesty and he gave it in abundance to others.
He was employed by Blue Sky Countertops and really enjoyed working with customers and representing the company. When he was off, he enjoyed the everyday simple things in life like watching movies, carving wood, collecting tools, and tinkering with his Harley. He never missed an opportunity to play with the grandkids, visit with friends and family, spend a long weekend in Florida and cheer on his beloved OU Boomer Sooners!
He was a proud veteran who worked on Apache helicopters while stationed in Colorado, North Carolina and Korea. He made lifelong friends everywhere he went, locally and across the country, and left a lasting impact on all who knew him. One of his best qualities-You never had to guess what he was thinking or where you stood with him-he was always happy to share his thoughts. His quick wit and undeniable “Donnie” charm will be forever missed.
Survived by his sweetheart Suzy, daughters Alexandria (husband Cody) and Emily (husband Cody). Bonus daughters Amy, and Mindy (husband Stephen). His “little monsters” as he affectionately referred to them-Benjamin, Kayden and Kinsleigh; mother Judy (husband Larry), Aunt Ann, bonus mom Shelley, best friend and brother Jerry (wife Tammy); sisters, Debbie (husband Keith), Shelley, Tracy, Angie; brothers, Perry, and David (wife Katy). Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues and his much beloved dog, Bear.
Donations may be made in memory of Donnie to the Transplant program at Baylor Scott and White-Fort Worth. Although he did not receive his miracle transplant, many others are waiting, and true to character, he wanted them to have a chance at their miracle.
