David Bennett Cole, loving husband, father, and grandfather was at home on February 21, 2025, when he peacefully went to join his Lord.
David was born on October 12, 1940, to Harrison Cole and Nettie Mainus in Sentinel, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Marine Corps and worked at the Irving Fire Department, both achievements he was fiercely proud of. He was the founder of Broken Pieces Ministry in Cleburne, Texas, where he and his church family fed and sheltered those in need of support.
Those already waiting to welcome him into heaven were his parents; his wife, Janet Cole; sisters, Arlene Howard, and Jessie Moore; and brothers, Clyde Cole, and Bill Cole.
Survivors: Those of us left here to cherish his memory and continue his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness are his daughter, Tammy McDavid (Adam); sisters, Betty Fry, Kathy Rozell, and Elaine Contway; grandchildren, Rowdy Fugitt, Lacey Fugitt, Diesel McDavid, Sadie Cassel, Kellee McDavid (Daryl), and Kendra McDavid (Jordan); as well as numerous nieces and nephews; great-grandchildren; and his church family.
