Clyde Wesley (Wes) Moore passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025 at the age of 83. He was born June 22, 1941 in Bisbee, Arizona to Clyde Joseph Moore and Mildred Burroughs Moore who preceded him in death. Wes married the love of his life, Ann Ruth Moore on August 15, 1970.
Wes served in the Texas Army National Guard as a First Lieutenant for 5 years. He graduated from UTA in 1969 with a degree in Business Administration followed by a 40-year career in insurance claims. He was a follower of Jesus Christ, an avid bicycle rider, lover of nature, fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, and devoted to his family.
Wes is survived by his wife, Ann; sons, Peter and Rocky; brother, Billy J. Moore and wife, Judy; uncle, Harold Burroughs; nephew, Fred Moore; nieces, Rachael Tressider, Phillis Wolters, and Nellie Frisbee; and numerous Arkansas cousins.
Graveside service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 27th at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76134.
Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Movement City Church, 5301 Altamesa Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 76123. A reception will follow the service. Please park at the back of the church for access to the small auditorium.
