Claude Fennell

Claude Coleman Fennell, 78, passed away December 5, 2020.

Visitation: 11-12 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2020 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Private funeral services will follow.

Fennell was born on November 4, 1942 in Stedman, N.C., where he graduated from Armstrong High School. After he graduated he joined the United States Air Force, where he was a chef. After serving 26 years in the military, Claude continued his working career in hospitality where he served others.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Fennell and Maggie McNeil Fennell; brothers, Louis Fennell and James Earl McNeil; sisters, Magaline Hair and Mary Ruth Mack.

Survivors: Wife, Corneila "Neil" Roberson Fennell; sons, Kenneth C. Fennell (Patricia),and Anthony M. Fennell; daughter, Deidra C. Fennell-Thompson (Donnell); brother, Allen Fennell; sister, Edna Mae Baxley (Charles); grandchildren, Sterling Anderson, Casie Byrd (Marquise), William Stafford, Brittany Evans (DeMarcus), Markus Fennell (Veronica), Briana Wheeler, Andre Matthews (Destiny), Xavier Fennell, and Alyssa Fennell; eight great-grandchildren; one God Son, Andre Palmer; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
