Charles Moore

Charles C. Moore, 83, passed away on July 20, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2022, at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126.  A private burial will take place in Jefferson, Texas.

Memorials:  Please give to your favorite charity in Charles's name, in place of flowers.  Thank you.

Charles was born on April 10, 1939, in Jefferson, Texas to Alfred and Mary Edith Moore.  He lived in Fort Worth for over 60 years.  He was a wonderful son, brother, dad, and grandfather.  Charles was an electrician for many years.  He loved traveling with his daughters, Tammy and Terri during their teenage years.  Charles was an avid reader and he especially enjoyed reading books on Egypt.  His favorite place to travel to was Colorado.  He loved the Colorado mountains.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clennon; sister, Barbara Puckett; nephew, Jimmy Moore; nephew, David Hennessee; and son-in-law, Dr. Vance Shearer.

Survivors:  Daughter, Tammy and husband, Chris Morgan of Granbury; daughter, Terri Shearer of Keller; grandchildren, Joshua Morgan, Jeremy and wife, Danielle Morgan, Jessica and husband, Jared Pellegrino, Alex Shearer and Alexis Shearer; and three great-grandchildren.
