Charles “Chuck” D. Moody, 76, of Benbrook, passed away Friday night, February 19, 2021 at his home, after a long battle with bone cancer.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 6th at Western Hills Church of Christ, 8800 Chapin Road, Benbrook 76126.

Chuck was born in Santa Monica, California on October 12, 1944. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force. Chuck worked for Swift Ice Cream Company and then Montgomery Ward, where he retired after 30 years. He opened his own business, Benbrook Appliance Repair in 2000, and retired in 2010.
Chuck loved his family and friends dearly. He loved to cook, watch James Bond movies, TCU college football, and College Bowl Day.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Paul Moody and mother, Esther Faith Moody.
Survivors: Loving wife of 50 years, Nancy Moody; children, Kim Sanchez and husband, Jacinto; Angela Chilcutt and husband, Brian; Charles H. Moody and wife, Deborah; and Kellie Fernandez and husband, Chris; seven grandchildren, Katheryne Lowe, Brock Moody, Hollis Ellis, Colten Ellis, Christopher Fernandez, Cameron Fernandez, and Ty Chilcutt; five great-grandchildren, Joseph Lowe, Benjamin Lowe, Rachel Lowe, Cullen Ellis and Keaton Ellis; sister, Suz Cregar of Los Angeles, California; and brother, Don Moody and wife, June of Bend, Oregon.
