Brian E. Sonnier

Brian Edward Sonnier, age 57, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025. He was born January 26, 1968. Brian was a graduate of the Erath High School Class of 1986. Brian enlisted in the U.S. Air Force July 17, 1989. He met the love of his life while stationed at RAF Weathersfield England, Melissa Cramsie and they were married April 6, 1991. He and Melissa have one son, Benjamin Edward Sonnier born October 17, 1992 while stationed at Randolph AFB in San Antonio, Texas.

Brian served his country as a U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant until retirement on August 31, 2011. He was proud of his 22 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. Brian was also very proud of his Cajun heritage. He taught himself how to play the accordion and owned a large accordion collection.

Brian is survived by his loving wife Melissa and son Benjamin both of Fort Worth, Texas; parents, Eldis and Janice Sonnier of Youngsville, Louisiana; mother-in-law Pauline Suffling of Haverhill, England; brother Michael Sonnier of Youngsville, Louisiana; sister Kristina and husband Charles Myers, Jr of Pasadena, Texas; brother Darrin Sonnier and wife Lisa of Kyle, Texas; brother-in-law Lee Cramsie of Haverhill, England; brother-in-Law Robert Cramsie and wife Kate of Haverhill, England; numerous nieces and one nephew, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
