Bobby Wayne "Pops" Ragon, 75, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Fort Worth.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2018 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook 76126. Burial: Shady Grove Cemetery, Grand Prairie. Visitation: 9-11:00 a.m., Monday, prior to the funeral service.
Bobby Wayne Ragon was born January 11, 1943 in Temple, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Pops loved his football; his beloved Trinity Trojans was his all time favorite team. During high school football season you would always find him and his friends wherever the Trojans were playing. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. When Pops wasn’t watching football he was probably fishing, also one of his all time favorite sports. Bobby loved his family dearly. He would attend all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren parties, and all of his family reunions. Our Pops was also a dancer and he could really cut a rug.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, M.N. Ragon and Alice Ragon, his sister, Jeanette Ragon Meadows, and his baby daughter, Jennifer Lynn Ragon. We will truly miss you Pops!
Survivors: He is survived by the love of his life of 38 years, wife, Deborah Ragon; loving father to nine children, Jo Lynn Ragon Herrin and husband, Randy of Waxahachie, Sidney Ragon Campbell and husband, Allen of Midlothian, Bobby Wayne Ragon of Waxahachie, Jerry Wayne Ragon of Euless, Chris Ragon of Euless, Shawn Ragon and wife, Ann of Frisco, Dustin Ragon of Bedford, and John Paul Ragon of Bedford; loving brother to his siblings, Barbara Ragon Clack and husband, Robert of Lake Buchanan, Brenda Ragon Turner and husband, Tim of Waco, and Terry Ragon and wife, Kimberly Ragon of North Richland Hills; 13 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a host of wonderful nieces, nephews; and many loving friends.
