Billy "Bill" Franklin Hodges, 85, passed away December 9, 2019 in Fort Worth.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at New Birth Christian Fellowship, located in the Holiday Inn Express, 3541 NW Loop 820, Fort Worth, Texas 76106. His burial will be private.

Billy was born January 14, 1934 in Grapevine, Texas to Calvin Walter Hodges and Ruby Maurine Blevins Hodges. He was a 1951 graduate of Grapevine High School. He lived in Benbrook for over 45 years and was known for his bedding plants that he would sell. Before retirement he was a butcher for Buddies, or better known today as Winn Dixie.
Billy loved his family, fishing, and hunting, but he was passionate about his dogs.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bettye who passed away in 2014; son, James Lee Hodges; three brothers, Charles, Jerrell, and Harold; sister, Nelda; three sisters-in-law, Jonell, Nancy, and Kathy; and a niece, Kathy.
Survivors: Son, Calvin Hodges and wife, Pamalee; grandchildren, Christi Hodges and Kyle Jackson; sister, Linda "SueSue" Williams; brothers-in-law, Keith Williams and Dean Williams; and his beloved chiweenie, Oscar.
