Betty Sronce

Betty Lou Kelley Sronce, 84, passed away March 19, 2021 at her home in Benbrook, surrounded by her loving family.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to Noon on Tuesday,  March 30, 2021 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126.

Betty was born July 29, 1936 in Caney, Texas and was raised in Columbus, Texas.  Her husband, Frank was in the US Navy and they lived in various states before retiring and returning to Texas.  Betty loved being a mother and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and she became "Mom" to many of her children's friends.  Betty was active in the sewing guild and was a talented quilter and seamstress. She also enjoyed gardening and being outside with her flowers.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Loueva Kelley, and her sister, Kathryn Krueger.

Survivors:  Betty is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Frank Sronce; her daughter, Donna Wilmeth; daughter, Jacquelyn Calp and husband, Daniel; son, Kelley Barnett and wife, Leslie; and son, Frank Sronce Jr. and wife, Jennifer.  She also leaves behind grandchildren, Lara, Brian, Stacey, Ericka, Thomas, Terrie, and Jonah; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
