Barbara Smith

Barbara Jean Ransom Smith, 75, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away October 10, 2017.
Burial: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in Annetta Cemetery, Hwy 5 in Annetta, Texas.
Barbara was born October 27, 1941 in Amarillo. She attended Claude High School, Wayland Baptist University, Oklahoma University, and West Texas State University. Barbara was an elementary classroom teacher for 30 years. She was involved in many ministries, volunteered in several organizations, conducted Bible studies, organized prayer groups, and worked in political elections. Barbara and John Smith was married June 26, 2004 in Fort Worth.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Ima Ransom of Claude, Texas.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Smith; daughter, Vonda Withers of Dallas; daughter, Jennie Bauchert and husband, James of Cooper, Wyoming; grandchildren, Alex Withers, Victoria Withers, Holly Bauchert, and Ryan Bauchert; and sister, Betty Cagle of Lubbock.
